We are seeking a skilled Portfolio Manager to oversee a portfolio of approximately 120 residential properties across London, providing exceptional service to both landlords and tenants.
Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of 120 residential properties across London, ensuring all aspects of property management are handled professionally and efficiently.
- Act as the primary point of contact for landlords and tenants, ensuring timely and effective communication.
- Coordinate and supervise property maintenance and repairs, maintaining high standards and ensuring timely completion.
- Conduct regular property inspections to ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
- Oversee tenancy agreements, including renewals, terminations, and evictions, ensuring adherence to legal requirements.
- Manage financial responsibilities, including rent collection, budgeting, and financial reporting.
- Resolve disputes and provide practical, client-focused solutions for both landlords and tenants.
- Collaborate with external agents and contractors to ensure the delivery of high-quality services.
Requirements
- A minimum of 12 months of experience in property management or a related field.
- Proven success in managing multiple properties with positive outcomes.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle and resolve conflicts effectively.
- In-depth knowledge of the property market and relevant laws.
- Positive references from previous employers.

- Salary: £35,000–£40,000 per year, plus performance-related bonuses.

The Role
As a Lettings Consultant at Romans & Partners, you will be instrumental in driving our lettings activity, ensuring the satisfaction of both landlords and tenants. You will manage the complete lettings process, from initial inquiry to key handover, while delivering the highest standards of customer service and professionalism.
Responsibilities
- Conduct property viewings and market properties to potential tenants.
- Negotiate tenancy terms and finalize agreements between tenants and landlords.
- Maintain an active and accurate register of available properties.
- Respond promptly to queries from prospective and current tenants, ensuring exceptional customer service.
- Build and nurture strong relationships with landlords, exceeding their expectations.
- Stay informed of market trends and legislative updates impacting the lettings industry.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to promote properties through various channels.
Requirements
- Proven experience in lettings or a similar role within the real estate industry.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- A successful track record of meeting and exceeding targets.
- In-depth knowledge of the local property market and relevant laws.
- Self-motivated and driven to achieve excellent results.
- Professional demeanour and a commitment to delivering high-quality customer service.
